Just as all polls closed across Canada, CityNews projects a Liberal win in the 2025 Canada election.

    By CityNews Staff

Residents across Calgary, Edmonton and all of Alberta headed to the polls to cast their vote in the 2025 federal election to elect a winning party and Members of the Parliament (MP).

In a stunning reversal of expectations and polling from just months ago, residents across Canada are set to give the Liberals under Mark Carney a fourth term of office.

Alberta remained a Conservative stronghold on election night with the Tories holding off any Liberal gains.

In the table below, find MP incumbents and winners as they get declared across Alberta, as well as a leaderboard and interactive map updating in real time as votes are counted.
