Edmonton police are turning to the public for help as they investigate an arson incident that happened Wednesday morning.
EPS says around 8 a.m. on Apr. 23, officers responded to the Crestwood neighbourhood after receiving a call from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services.
Information provided to police by EFRS and with evidence found at the scene, the fire is believed to have been deliberately set.
Investigators say they don’t believe the fire is related to other recent arsons seen throughout the city.
Anyone who lives in the Crestwood neighbourhood is asked to check their security cameras or dashcams to see if they notice any suspicious activity between midnight and 7 a.m. on Apr. 23.
Additionally, anyone with any information is asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
