Police investigating suspicious death of 52-year-old man in southeast Edmonton

Police are investigating what they are describing as the “suspicious” death of a 52-year-old man in southeast Edmonton Sunday evening.
Officers were called to 66 Street and 38 Avenue around 10 p.m. for the reports of gunshots.
Edmonton police arrived to find the man with injuries. Paramedics tried saving his life, but he was declared dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
The EPS is asking for dash camera or home security camera footage from Sunday between 9-11 p.m.
