The owners of the Old Strathcona Antique Mall have decided to sell the business after 16 years.

    By News Staff

The Old Strathcona Antique Mall, which has been a fixture in Edmonton’s vintage and antique scene for the past 16 years, has been listed for sale.

Mother-daughter duo owners Betty and Bobbi took to Facebook to announce the sale. As per the post, Betty is looking to retire to spend more time on her various hobbies, and Bobbi’s main focus will be on her family.

The business is turnkey, situated in a character building right on Gateway Boulevard. According to Travel Alberta, it is the largest antique mall in Western Alberta at more than 27,000 square feet. TripAdvisor lists it in the top-three best places to shop in Edmonton and it was once featured on the TV show Amazing Race Canada.

“The landlord is supportive and eager to have a tenant carry on the Old Strathcona Antique Mall in this location. The desire is to have someone who will continue the welcoming vibe, providing an award-winning destination for the Edmonton and surrounding community,” the post read.
