Police seek public’s assistance identifying suspects in alleged theft at West Edmonton Mosque

Edmonton Police (EPS) is requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects believed to be involved in an alleged theft at a mosque in West Edmonton last week.
On Saturday, between approximately 3:55 p.m. and 4:05 p.m., a man and woman suspect are alleged to have entered a mosque located near 216 Street and 100 Ave. without permission.
According to police, the suspects are believed to have stolen several security deposit boxes that contained cash and cheques, which were contributions made by mosque patrons throughout the prior week.
CCTV footage reportedly confirmed that the suspects spent around 10 minutes inside the mosque, during which time they allegedly took the deposit boxes.
The pair is believed to have fled the scene in a newer model dark grey Audi A4, which was driven by a second male suspect.

The first suspect is a man described as approximately 30-years-old, standing around 5’10” tall, weighing 170 lbs., and having tattoos on his right arm and hand.
The second suspect is described as a woman around 30-years-old, standing 5’6” tall, and weighing approximately 130 lbs.
The third suspect, who is believed to have been driving the Audi, is described as a man around 25-years-old.
