Winter conditions causing several collisions in and around Edmonton

Edmonton police and Alberta RCMP are advising motorists to take extra caution while driving as numerous collisions have been reported in and around the city.

EPS says a pair of collisions have forced Whitemud Drive to close in all directions between Quesnell Bridge and Gateway Boulevard.

Just after 8 p.m., Mounties in Leduc advised drivers to stay home, before adding a tow ban had been put in place just before 8:30.
