Man in hospital after rollover collision on Whitemud Drive Wednesday

Edmonton police say a 28-year-old man is in hospital following a rollover collision Wednesday afternoon.

EPS says officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Whitemud Drive between 34 Street and 17 Street around 3:30 p.m.

Through initial stages of the investigation, police learned that the vehicle had been reported as stolen, before being rolled.

The 28-year-old man who was driving at the time suffered injuries and had been taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

An investigation is still on going, and police add charges against the driver are pending.
