Sturgeon School Division education support staff vote 80% in favour of deal

Education support staff at Sturgeon School Division are scheduled to return to work after spring break after they voted 80 per cent in favour of ratifying their collective agreement.

The roughly 200 education support workers at the Sturgeon School Division, which covers schools north of Edmonton such as in St. Albert, Morinville or Gibbons, are heading back to work March 31.

It was the last Edmonton-area school division without a ratified settlement.

Edmonton Public Schools, the Parkland School Division and Black Gold School Division all voted in favour of ratification.
