The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival announced its final line-up for this summer in Edmonton, with a long list of popular comedians and actors coming to Kinsmen Park.
Podcaster Tony Hinchcliffe of the hugely successful roast-style show “Kill Tony” is kicking off the festival July 18 alongside a handful comedians who rose to fame on the podcast, such as David Lucas, Ari Matti and Kam Patterson.
Hinchcliffe gained national attention for his acclaimed set on the roast of Tom Brady last year. He was also in the spotlight for the wrong reason – when his joke at a Donald Trump rally about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage” was met with outrage.
A long list of heavy-hitters are performing at the outdoor fest July 19: Anthony Jeselnik, Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), Michael Che (SNL’s Weekend Update), and Nick Kroll (The League / Big Mouth).
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival also announced the Trailer Park Boys and Hollywood actor Jeremy Piven (Entourage) were coming to Edmonton July 19.
On July 20, Fortune Feimster and Matteo Lane are kicking off the festival’s final day before handing things off to headliners John Mulaney and Martin Short.
