4 hospitalized in 3 vehicle collision on Highway 19: Edmonton police

Edmonton police say four people have been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision Monday morning on Highway 19.
EPS says Highway 19 is closed between 167 Street and 197 Street due to the serious collision that happened in the morning.
It is believed a dump truck was driving east on Highway 19 when it entered the westbound lanes of the highway and collided with a Dodge pickup truck and a Mitsubishi.
The driver of the Dodge was reportedly taken to hospital by STARS air ambulance with serious injuries.
Three others were also taken to hospital by paramedics. A passenger in the Dodge had minor injuries, the driver of the Mitsubishi serious injuries, and the driver of the dump truck with minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
