Man charged for selling drugs in Sherwood Park: RCMP

Alberta RCMP says a 32-year-old man from Edmonton has been charged for selling drugs in Sherwood Park.

In August 2024, Mounties began an investigation into a man who was believed to be selling drugs.

Over the course of the investigation, multiple search warrants were executed in Sherwood Park and Edmonton.

During the searches, police were able to find and seize over $15,000 worth of cocaine, over $20,000 in cash, and other drug trafficking items.

Since, David Kelly, 32, has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000, and possession of a fraudulent identity document.

Kelly is expected to appear in court on March 26.
