Three men hold anti-immigration signs in St. Albert, prompting police response

Over the weekend, three individuals were seen with anti-immigration signs in St. Albert, northwest of Edmonton.

Alberta RCMP confirmed to CityNews that officers were called to St. Albert Centre along St. Albert Trail at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, after three men were seen holding up “White lives matter” and “deportation” signs.

St. Albert Mayor Cathy Heron is calling out the ‘protest’ on Facebook saying quote: “This is not the St. Albert I know and love.” CityNews reached out to Heron, but she was not available for comment.

According to RCMP, the individuals left the area after they were cautioned by RCMP that they were creating a disturbance for drivers on the road.
