St. Albert recreation centre closes due to ‘medical emergency’

Fountain Park Recreation Centre in St. Albert, just northwest of Edmonton, shut down Tuesday afternoon following a medical incident in the pool area.

The City of St. Albert says first responders were called to the recreation centre just after 1 p.m., and the facility was shut due to the medical emergency.

RCMP confirmed to CityNews it was not a criminal call.
