South Edmonton bank robbed in Dec., suspect still at large

Edmonton police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on December 27 in southeast Edmonton.

EPS on Friday shared surveillance video of an armed masked man seen leaving the bank which is located on Parsons Road and Ellerslie Road.

After the robbery, the suspect fled westbound on a bicycle, and police believe he was picked up by a vehicle on the east side of Gateway Boulevard, just north of the Ellerslie Road overpass.

Police say they are looking to speak with the person who picked up the armed robbery suspect at approximately 6 p.m. on Gateway Boulevard just north of the Ellerslie overpass.

Police are also asking motorists travelling in the area around that time to check their dashcam footage.
