Edmonton massage therapist charged with sexual assault

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) have charged Christian Zeus Cabillan, 42-year-old with sexual assault in relation to an incident that occurred in central Edmonton on December 10, 2024.

A woman filed a complainant’s report of sexual assault about Cabillan at a massage clinic in central Edmonton’s Oliver neighbourhood.

Following an investigation by the EPS, Cabillan, was charged with one count of sexual assault on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.

The Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association (CRMTA), a governing body for the industry, has cancelled Cabillan’s Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) license.

Police believe Cabillan may still be practicing massage therapy in Edmonton and may have other victims.

“If you have been victimized by Christian Zeus Cabillan, please come forward and report it to police,” says Detective Dustin Brown with the EPS Sexual Assault Section.  “We believe there may be other complainants in Edmonton. As such, our investigators want to ensure that these individuals are connected to resources to support their wellbeing.”

Anyone who believes they have been targeted by Cabillan is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone.
