Heavy snowfall warning for Alberta

Heavy snowfall is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with up 10 to 15 cm.

Snowfall will begin in western Alberta Tuesday evening, spreading eastward through central Alberta by early Wednesday morning.

The heaviest snow will fall during the day on Wednesday.

Snow will slow down on Wednesday evening.

Snowfall warning issued for:
Parkland Co. near Spruce Grove and Stony Plain, Alta.
Sturgeon Co. near Rivière Qui Barre and Villeneuve, Alta.
Sturgeon Co. near Morinville Volmer and Big Lake, Alta.
Sturgeon Co. near Bon Accord Gibbons and Namao, Alta.
Fort Saskatchewan and Nrn Strathcona Co., Alta.
City of Edmonton – St. Albert – Sherwood Park, Alta.
Leduc Co. near Calmar and Devon, Alta.
Leduc Co. near Leduc Beaumont and Kavanagh, Alta.
Leduc Co. near New Sarepta and Rolly View, Alta.
Strathcona Co. near Ardrossan and Cooking Lake, Alta.
