Body found near river in Fort Saskatchewan

RCMP in Fort Saskatchewan says a body has been found near the North Saskatchewan River in Fort Saskatchewan.

Mounties say the body was found Tuesday morning.

Officers attended the scene and recovered the remains, and believe the individual was reported missing in September.

Mounties have confirmed an investigation is ongoing, and note the death is note believed to be suspicious at this time.
