Alberta preparing for 2025 budget with survey, telephone town hall
The province is looking for input from Albertans on what matters most to them ahead of next year’s budget.
Alberta will launch an online survey Tuesday where residents can submit their thoughts and ideas. It will be open until Jan. 12.
A telephone town hall with Minister of Finance, Nate Horner, is scheduled for Wednesday. Those with publicly-listed phone numbers might get a phone call or text inviting them to join, the province says. Albertans can also listen online and submit their questions during the live discussion. A link for the meeting will go live at the beginning of the event.

The province says feedback is also collected from businesses, municipalities, community groups, industry organizations, and other stakeholders all year long. These groups can also send budget submissions on behalf of their organizations through an online portal.
All submissions will be shared with the minister, the province says.
Alberta’s budget must be released before the end of February each year.
