Edmonton police looking for man who robbed, shot convenience store worker

Edmonton police are looking for a 20-year-old man who robbed and shot a convenience store located at 93 Street and 107A Avenue on Thursday.

On Friday, police shared surveillance footage of the man, stating that the woman was arrested and charged.

Police say, the man along with a woman accomplice entered the store at 2:30 p.m. and attempted to steal products. A physical confrontation ensued between two employees and the suspects. As they were exiting the store, the male suspect produced a firearm and shot one of the store employees.

The employee was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after the robbery, police located the female suspect, identified as Keyara Vye, 20, a few blocks away. The male suspect has been identified as Nevaeh Auger. Vye has been charged with robbery and multiple firearms-related offences.

Police are now seeking public’s assistance to locate Auger who is described as armed and dangerous. Auger is 5’5” tall and approximately 123 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair.
