Man, teen charged for selling drugs in Sherwood Park, Edmonton

Alberta RCMP says a man and a teen have been charged in connection to drugs being sold in Sherwood Park and Edmonton.

Mounties say on Oct. 8, officers from Strathcona County took both suspects into custody for allegedly selling drugs.

A 16-year-old was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.

Additionally, 32-year-old Mason Joseph Lalonde has been charged with trafficking fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine, while also being charged with possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.

Both have since been released and are expected to appear in court on Nov. 26 and 27.
