Windows smashed at several north Edmonton businesses

Police say a man was taken into custody after the windows of several north Edmonton businesses were smashed on Tuesday morning.

The Edmonton Police Service says some vehicle windows at a car dealership were also broken.

Police say it happened along 97 Street near 130 Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

A Tim Horton’s, 7-Eleven, Dulux Paints, A&W and various car dealerships were among the businesses affected.

Police say the suspect was arrested shortly after the incidents were reported, and he will be facing charges.
