Edmonton police are asking residents in the Keswick neighbourhood to examine their properties for a potential bullet hole after a drive-by shooting on Sunday.
The Edmonton Police Service alleges someone in a vehicle fired on a second vehicle at King Wynd SW between King Gate SW and Keswick Link SW around 2:15 a.m. Investigators are looking to retrieve that bullet.
“There is a bullet that we believe was fired during this incident that is unaccounted for,” says Det. David Butt with the EPS Investigative Response Team. “We are asking for citizens in that area to check their residences and vehicles on the street for any damage.”
Both vehicles are said to have then fled the area.
Police say they arrived and arrested “a number of individuals.” There is no immediate danger to the public, they add.
Anyone who locates any damage or has any information is asked to contact 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
