28 people displaced after fire at apartment near Commonwealth Stadium

Twenty-eight people were displaced due to an early morning fire at a three-storey apartment building located at 11029 84 Street, near Commonwealth Stadium.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services were called to the location at 3:11 a.m.

EFRS said no injuries were reported. The Emergency Support Response Team (ESRT) assisted occupants displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and EFRS is investigating the fire.
