Small plane crashes at Peace River Airport

Alberta RCMP are investigating a small plane crash that happened just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mounties in Peace River and Grimshaw reported to the incident around 4:50 p.m.

It is believed there were two people on board the plane when it crashed.

Transport Canada has been advised, and police are advising everyone to avoid the area during the investigation.

The Peace River Airport is located roughly 480 km northwest of Edmonton.
