RCMP looking into threat at Sherwood Park elementary school

RCMP in Strathcona County are investigating a threat incident at Heritage Hills Elementary School that happened on Monday.
Mounties say around 5:28 a.m., they responded to a report that a man had spray painted a threatening message on the Sherwood Park’s school sidewalk.
RCMP were able to obtain video footage of the incident, which showed a man wearing a balaclava and carrying a can of spray paint.
The video also showed the man appeared to have a limp or an injury to his leg.
Police are taking the threat seriously, however, they do not believe the safety of the school and staff is compromised.
