Metallica donates $50K each to Edmonton Food Bank and Win House

Metallica gave a boost to two local charities following their recent concerts in Edmonton.

The band’s “All Within My Hands foundation” donated $100,000 from ticket sales at their two Commonwealth Stadiums shows.

Those donations were split between the women’s shelter ‘win house’ and the Edmonton Food Bank.

The agency says they are flattered and humbled by this most unexpected gift.
