Body of Edmonton man, 32, recovered from Moose Lake

Search and rescue teams have recovered the body of a 32-year-old Edmonton man who was missing on Moose Lake.

Bonnyville RCMP say the man’s body was found under the water Monday shortly before 5:30 p.m.

Police received a report of a potential drowning on the lake west of Bonnyville on Sunday around noon.

Officers were told two men were operating a Sea-doo when they fell into the water. Only one man resurfaced.

Police say the victim was not wearing a life jacket.

Mounties and the Bonnyville Search and Rescue team have offered their condolences to his family.

Bonnyville RCMP are investigating the incident.
