Man killed after being hit by train in south Edmonton
Police say a man is dead after being struck by a train in south Edmonton on Tuesday night.
Edmonton police say it happened on the CP Rail line at Ellerslie Road between 100 Street SW and Parsons Road.
Authorities are describing the incident as a “non-criminal” collision but did not provide additional details.

Ellerslie Road was reopened to traffic Wednesday morning.
The EPS is investigating.
