Edmonton to adjust hours for Jasper wildfire support registrants

The City of Edmonton says due to a decreased number of overnight registrants, the Rapid Emergency Support Terminal (REST) will be adjusting its hours.

REST will be open until midnight on Friday, Aug. 2, before adjusting hours on Aug. 3, when it will be open from 8 a.m. until midnight.

Those looking to register between midnight and 8 a.m., will be able to call 780-887-2696 to get support.

Those who have already registered and need access to services are asked to visit the REST location at Kennedale Site, Building #2, 12814-58 Street.

The City of Edmonton says over 1,700 people have registered since July 23.
