Edmonton police looking for 3 suspects linked to multiple thefts in 2023

Edmonton police are looking to identify suspects connected to a string of robberies in June 2023.

EPS has released photos and videos from thefts on June 4, 16, 17, and 20, 2023, which all involved the same three suspects, in an effort to try and identify the trio.

“Although these incidents occurred some time ago, we have now connected all three suspects to several robberies around the city,” says Det. Michael Walkom of the EPS Robbery Section. “We are confident that someone out there knows the identities of these suspects, and we are hopeful someone will contact police.”

EPS says the first robbery occurred around 12:45 a.m. on June 4, at a liquor store near Daniels Way and Desrochers Gate.

During the robbery, two men and a woman reportedly stole cash and alcohol before fleeing in a maroon coloured Chevrolet SUV.

It is also believed the trio attempted to steal from a gas station near 108 Street and 82 Avenue around 11:45 p.m. on the same day.

Around mid-June, officers learned the same trio attempted to enter a liquor store near 69 Avenue and 109 Street. They were reportedly unsuccessful and fled the area.

Not long after — around midnight on June 17 — the trio entered a liquor store near Daniels Way and Desrochers Gate and stole alcohol and cash.

A couple of days later, around 1:30 a.m. on June 20, the same trio reportedly entered a gas station near 137 Avenue and 164 Street armed with a crowbar and a gun.

Police say after taking some items, they fled the gas station in a dark green Hyundai Kona SUV.
