Edmonton police looking for driver of stolen vehicle that crashed into trees Monday night

Edmonton police are looking for a man who stole a vehicle, rolled it, and fled onto Edmonton transit Monday night.

EPS says around 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle collision near 133 Street and 102 Avenue.

Officers learned that a man was driving a 2013 white Dodge Dart, collided with trees near the intersection and rolled the vehicle.

Witnesses to the collision told officers that the man climbed out of the vehicle and fled on transit.

EPS was later able to confirm the Dodge Dart had been stolen.

An investigation is still ongoing.
