Woman killed in Alexander First Nation: RCMP

Alberta RCMP is investigating a homicide that occurred in Alexander First Nation — roughly 40 kilometers north of Edmonton.

RCMP says around 2:30 p.m., on May 5, they received a report from paramedics that a woman was in medical distress at a home on the First Nation.

Paramedics took the woman to a hospital where she was later declared dead.

An autopsy was later conducted and the death was ruled a homicide.

Mounties are asking if anyone has any information regarding the homicide, to contact investigators at 780-939-1600 or Crime Stoppers at 1‐800‐222‐8477.
