Grande Prairie man wanted on Canada-wide warrant arrested in Chilliwack

Chilliwack RCMP has charged a man from Grande Prairie in connection to a Canada-wide warrant for child pornography offences.
Grande Prairie RCMP says 65-year-old Ronald Duivenvoorde was spotted in Chilliwack and was attempting to leave the country.
Chilliwack RCMP were called for assistance and were able to locate Duivenvoorde.
Duivenvoorde has since been charged with accessing child pornography and three counts of failure to comply with Sex Offender Information Registration Act.
He has been remanded into custody and will be transferred to Grande Prairie, where he will appear in court on May 8.
