A woman from Red Deer is facing more than a dozen charges after allegedly ramming her vehicle into a police cruiser several times.

RCMP say they were called to a parking lot on the north side of Red Deer around 2:30 p.m. Friday for reports of a suspicious vehicle.

When officers arrived they located the vehicle in question and attempted a traffic stop. It is alleged the suspect vehicle began ramming the police cruiser 15 times.

The Mounties allege two suspects attempted to run from the vehicle on foot but were quickly arrested.

Tiak Kikoak, 27, of Red Deer is facing 15 charges including assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, dangerous operation of a vehicle, impaired driving, and multiple firearm offences.

Jared Mcleod, 30, of Red Deer is facing eight charges including resisting arrest, drug possession, and multiple firearm offences.

The pair remain in custody and will appear in a Red Deer courtroom on Wednesday.
