Man found dead in Sherwood Park, RCMP deem suspicious

A man was found dead inside a vehicle in Sherwood Park just outside Edmonton Friday, and Strathcona RCMP is calling his death suspicious.
Mounties say they received reports about a dead body on Township Road 510 at around 9:30 a.m.
When they arrived, they found the body inside a vehicle.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit is handling the investigation with help from Strathcona County RCMP and Edmonton (HQ) Forensic Identification Services.
Police say there is no threat to public safety.
An autopsy report is scheduled for April 2.
In the meantime, Mounties seek public help and ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the early morning of March 29 in the area of Township Road 510 or the surrounding area of Strathcona County, to call police at 780-467-7741.
