Alberta RCMP look to reunite stolen items with rightful owners

By Alejandro Melgar

Redwater RCMP came across an abandoned vehicle with items they believe were stolen and would like to return them to their rightful owners.

Mounties in the detachment north of Edmonton received a report of a “suspicious vehicle” on Range Road 211 in Thorhild County just before 7 p.m. on March 22.

They found an abandoned vehicle that was reported missing from Lac La Biche upon arrival.

RCMP found a GPI fuel transfer pump along with a hose and a portable tidy tank inside the vehicle.

When they returned the vehicle to the rightful owner, he stated the items weren’t his.

As a result, mounties are looking to reunite the items with the rightful owner, with the GPI fuel transfer pump being model M-150S, and the other items.

Police ask those who may be the owner of this property to contact the Redwater RCMP at 780-942-3607 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
