Edmonton police have reopened eastbound Anthony Henday Drive following an investigation of a serious collision.
Around 12:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a collision, between 111 Street and Calgary Trail.
The report indicated a Honda Civic had collided with a tractor-trailer, before driving across two lanes of traffic, hitting the centre median and a light standard.
A 25-year-old woman, who was driving the Civic was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe a medical episode was a factor in this collision.
Due to the investigation, one lane of traffic between 111 Street and Calgary Trail was closed, but that has since been reopened.
