Man charged after pair of vehicle thefts, fraudulent registrations in Edmonton

The Alberta RCMP has charged an Edmonton man in connection to a pair of fraudulent vehicle registrations.

Mounties say in February, their auto theft unit began an investigation into the registrations. Through their investigation, officers issued a search warrant at an Edmonton home on March 6.

As a result of the search, the RCMP was able to seize two stolen re-vinned vehicles, vehicle key programmers, $7,800 in counterfeit currency, and stolen mail and cheques.
