2 Edmonton men charged with sexual assault in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan RCMP say two men from Edmonton have been charged in connection to an alleged sexual assault in Meadow Lake.

The RCMP says it received a report of the alleged incident in the early hours of Feb. 6.

According to Mounties’ investigation, it’s believed two young girls were sexually assaulted and two men were arrested at the scene.

Since the arrest, 35-year-old Gagandeep Singh Gill and 31-year-old Balraj Sidhu, both from Edmonton, have been charged with sexual assault.

Mounties say Gill was also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
