Police release video footage of armed robbery at Edmonton restaurant

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is looking for a man believed to be connected to an armed robbery at a northeast Edmonton restaurant in April.

EPS says that at around 8:30 p.m. on Apr. 11, a man was seen entering a restaurant near 120 Avenue and 90 Street to pick up a takeout order. He then offered to pay for his meal in cash.

Police then say as the lone employee opened the cash register, the man pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the employee, and demanded all the cash.

Police are asking if anyone has any information on the suspect to contact investigators at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
