Edmonton police looking for man believed to be linked to August robberies

The Edmonton Service (EPS) is looking for a man who is believed to be involved in a pair of robberies in early August.

Police say the two thefts happened on Aug. 5, when a man first entered a Petland pet store near 119 Street and 104 Avenue.

After several minutes in the store, the man allegedly went to a cashier, showed a gun, and demanded money.

After getting the money, he fled the scene on a bike.

Roughly an hour later, the same man was scene entering a Sobey’s liquor near 114 Avenue and 106 Street.

The man allegedly picked out an item from the store and approached the cashier, before showing a gun and telling the employee she was getting robbed.

EPS says the man is described as around 6 feet tall, weighing roughly 165 pounds, and has a tattoo on his left forearm.
