Police investigating suspicious death in northwest Edmonton

Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred Thursday in the city’s northwest.
The EPS says around 2:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for assistance from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, who reportedly found a woman’s body inside a home near 123 Street and 128 Avenue.

Homicide investigators have since taken over the case.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Aug. 14.

Police are asking anyone who has information, including video footage of the area between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, to contact investigators at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
