Crews put out fire at downtown Edmonton home

Edmonton firefighters were called to battle a blaze at a downtown home early Wednesday morning.

The Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says a call came in around 5:30 a.m. about a house fire at 95 Street and 103 Avenue.

A total of eight units were dispatched.

The fire was put out shortly before 7 a.m., Edmonton Fire said.

Crews were still on the scene by 11 a.m.
