Fatal pedestrian collision in Lac La Biche; RCMP looking for driver

RCMP says one person is dead following the hit-and-run of a pedestrian on Highway 881 in Lac La Biche late Monday night.
Mounties say just before midnight, officers responded to the collision that occurred between Range Road 132 and 133.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified person dead at the scene.
Speaking to a witness, it was reported that another man may have witnessed the collision, however, they left prior to Mounties arriving.
RCMP are asking the driver of the vehicle to contact police as soon as possible regarding the collision.
In addition, all body shops are being asked to report vehicle damage that may be consistent with the collision.
