Arrest made in Belvedere LRT station death
Edmonton police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with a man’s death near the Belvedere LRT station Sunday night.
The Edmonton Police Service says Jamal Joshua Malik Wheeler was charged with second-degree murder.
Police say they responded to a weapons complaint at the LRT station around 9:15 p.m. Officers arrived to find a man with suspicious injuries. He was declared dead at the scene.

Homicide investigators do not believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
An autopsy to determine a cause of death has been scheduled for Wednesday.
