Fire damages Anglican church in Lac La Biche

Police in a hamlet northeast of Edmonton are investigating a fire that caused significant damage to a church.
Lac La Biche RCMP say the St. Andrews Anglican Church was damaged inside and out.
They were called to the blaze – alongside the fire department and county peace officers – Saturday around 6:30 a.m.
Photos shared by RCMP showed flames inside the church and heavy smoke billowing out a front window.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
RCMP are asking residents in the 101 to 103 block of Churchill Drive to check their security footage for any suspicious activity.
Lac La Biche is 215 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
