Oilers announce 2023-24 season schedule

The Edmonton Oilers have officially released their 2023-24 season schedule.

The Oilers will begin their campaign in Vancouver on October 11, before hosting the Canucks in their own home opener on Oct. 14.

The first Battle of Alberta will be the Heritage Classic at Commonwealth Stadium on Oct. 29. In total the Oilers will meet the Flames four times during the regular season, with the other three games being played Jan. 20 in Calgary, Feb. 24 in Edmonton, and Apr. 6 in Calgary.

Oilers fans will get their first look at the defending Stanley Cup champions, on Nov. 28. The Oilers will make their first trip to the Fortress on February 6.

The longest home stand for the Oilers is six games from Dec. 6 to 16, where they’ll play the Hurricanes, Wild, Devils, Blackhawks, Lightning, and Panthers.

The Oilers end 2023 with the final game of their longest road trip of the season – six games – on Dec. 31 versus the Ducks. Before starting 2024 at home against the Flyers.

The Oilers will close out their season at home on Apr. 15 against the Sharks, before a double-header in Arizona and Colorado on Apr. 17 and 18 to end the season.
