Fire damages 3 under-construction homes in northeast Edmonton

Three homes were damaged by fire in Edmonton’s northeast Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the area of 120 Avenue and 59 Street around 2:40 a.m.

Crews brought the blaze under control by 6 a.m.

The homes were under construction. Multiple nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
