Canada-wide warrant for suspect in 2021 Whyte Avenue murder

By News Staff

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man in connection with a 2021 homicide near Whyte Avenue.

Edmonton police are looking for 25-year-old Dylan Furaha-Inkindi in connection with the death of 24-year-old Tanraj Deogen.

Deogen was fatally shot in the early hours of Oct. 3, 2021, near 81 Avenue and 104 Street. An autopsy four days later confirmed the victim died of a gunshot wound.

Police warn Furaha-Inkindi may be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

EPS is also looking to identify a second man who may be a witness in the homicide investigation. Police released a photo of the man Wednesday. They are hoping he can perhaps be identified due to his “distinctive jacket.”
