Bomb threat that forced evacuation of Leduc school ‘not credible’: RCMP

Students from a school in Leduc returned to class Wednesday morning after police determined a bomb threat was not credible.
Leduc RCMP completed a search of Leduc Composite High School and said nothing suspicious was located.
Earlier Wednesday the high school was evacuated after police received reports of a threat around 10:10 a.m.
The students were evacuated to nearby Ecole Leduc Junior High School, the Black Gold School Division said.
Police had asked the public to stay away rom the area while they verified the credibility of the threat.
An RCMP investigation is ongoing.
“We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience during this incident,” Leduc RCMP said in a statement.
